An Update From The Animal Foundation

We are happy to announce that 115 dogs at The Animal Foundation have been cleared from Canine Pnuemovirus, and we currently have more than 100 dogs available for adoption. At this time, only 18 dogs at the shelter have symptoms of the virus.

Our Community Stepped Up in a Big Way

As of Friday, September 30 we had 610 animals on campus. Our shelter population is moving closer to a manageable level. This is great news! We put out a call for help, and you answered. Since Monday, 239 animals have been placed in foster homes. We are so grateful for the community’s response. We’re excited to say adoptions resumed Friday, September 30. Please come down to adopt your new best friend.

Dental work can be an expensive part of pet ownership, sometimes costing thousands of dollars if extractions are required. While dental care for your pet is a lifelong commitment and we recommend follow-up care with your full service vet, it's still a huge bonus that the dogs' teeth on this page are currently in tip-top shape!
