Our Community Stepped Up in a Big Way
As of Monday, October 3 we had 616 animals on campus. Our shelter population is moving closer to a manageable level. This is great news!
We put out a call for help, and you answered.
In the last week, more than 240 animals have been placed in foster homes. We are so grateful for the community’s response. It has been overwhelming.
Although the fostering event is over, you can still foster! Fostering is free, and we provide everything you need, including food, and supplies as needed.
Steps to foster:
1) Fill out a foster application here: http://bit.ly/2WeobQ6
2) You will receive an automatic email back explaining next steps. You MUST read the email carefully for next steps. Our foster team will not contact you until you complete the steps in the email.
3) Our animals most in need of foster homes can be found here: https://bit.ly/FosterSearch
You can also foster dogs and cats available for adoption who are over 6 months of age. Dogs must also be over 25 lbs. You can find them here: http://bit.ly/2O2yDW7
Please be patient as our small but mighty foster team works through hundreds of emails. You may not hear back for a few days. We appreciate your support and understanding during this critical time.
