National Adopt a Senior Pet Month Highlights Perks of Adopting Older Animals at The Animal Foundation
On November 14, 2018, KLAS-TV Channel 8 (CBS) reported on how there are many highly adoptable senior pets available for adoption at The Animal Foundation during National Adopt a Senior Pet Month in November.
Senior pets at The Animal Foundation usually stay at the shelter longer because people think they have more medical and other issues, but with the right amount of love and care they can be a great addition to your home. According to The Animal Foundation Adoptions Manager Brenda Arceo, a senior pet more than likely has already been trained. They’ve probably also lived in a home before. All senior pets seven years and older are medically evaluated before they are put up for adoption at The Animal Foundation.
