The Animal Foundation and the NSPCA are running out of animals
It's a very good problem to have.
Two local animal shelters are running low on adoptable pets. Thanks to special promotions for Valentine's Day and Presidents' Day, the kennels and catteries are nearly empty.
For Bradley, it was a match meant to be. She and the 11-year-old Yorkie, Petunia Dound, found each other on a jam-packed holiday at the Nevada SPCA.
"She's got a cataract and I'm blind as a bunch of bats, so it's perfect," Bradley said. "I was insistent on coming early because I knew I wanted her and sometimes the smaller dogs go fast."
