The 2024 Kitten Shower
The kittens are here, and when it rains, it pours!
Every year, from spring through late summer, The Animal Foundation is inundated with teeny, tiny kittens! It’s kitten season, and over the next several months, we will welcome hundreds of newborn kittens into our shelter. These babies require constant care and support, and they are the most fragile animals we serve. Our shelter staff members and dedicated foster caregivers are working around the clock to make sure these kittens grow big and strong.
Since the nursery opened in May 2019, it has positively impacted 8,300 cats and kittens.
To help support our kitten nursery and our foster program, we will be hosting our 2nd Annual Kitten Shower on Saturday, May 18th from 11 am - 3 pm in our Community Center at The Animal Foundation. The community center is located in the Adoption Building at 655 N. Mojave Rd, Las Vegas, 89101.
This kitten-themed, family-friendly community event will feature children’s activities, games, food, a raffle, and information about our lifesaving programs!
You can support our kitten nursery and fosters by bringing a gift from our Kitten Nursery Amazon Wish List.
If you bring a gift from the wishlist to the shower, you’ll be able to name a shelter kitten!
If you can't make it to our Kitten Shower but still want to support us during our busy kitten season, you can still donate from our wishlist and have the items shipped directly to the shelter.
RSVPs for the second annual kitten shower have now ended. Check back next year to RSVP for our third annual kitten shower!
