Muffin was hit by a car. She needs your help.

Muffin needs your help. This sweet one-year-old girl was hit by a car and suffered devastating injuries, fracturing both her front and back leg on the same side. Since arriving at our shelter, Muffin hasn’t wanted to stand or move — despite being on medication, she’s in a lot of pain.

We know there’s a bright future for her, but she needs immediate surgery to repair these fractures, followed by pain management and intensive care to help her heal.

Your donation today can make all the difference. We are a triage center, and costly specialized orthopedic surgery at a partnering veterinary hospital is the only way to correct Muffin’s injuries and give her the chance to walk again.

Muffin will need not only surgery, but also strict cage rest and follow-up care to ensure her recovery goes smoothly. Without your support, Muffin’s road to recovery will be long and uncertain.

Every dollar you give goes directly to our CARE Fund, which is dedicated to animals like Muffin who are facing life-threatening situations. Your generosity will cover the costs of her surgery, medications, and the post-operative care she needs to heal and thrive. With your help, we can give her the happy, active life she deserves.

Together, we can give Muffin the chance to live the life she was meant to have—one filled with joy, love, and the ability to run and play again. Thank you for being her hero.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, we are happy to share that Muffin is on the road to recovery and doing wonderfully! After a successful surgery to repair her fractured front and back legs, this sweet girl is starting to find her strength again.

Muffin has already started walking on her healing legs, and while she still has some recovery ahead, her progress has been incredible. As a playful puppy, she doesn’t always understand why she needs to stay in her kennel, but she’s keeping her spirits high with plenty of kisses and snuggles, both with her humans and her favorite lamb toy.

In one week, Muffin will begin physical therapy to build up strength in her legs once her incisions fully heal. Her foster family is thrilled with her progress, noting she’s eating like a champ and is looking forward to playing with her foster siblings soon.

Your kindness and support have given Muffin the second chance she deserves. From all of us—and especially from Muffin—thank you for being the heroes who made this possible!
