Help Seymour Heal. He’s Counting On Us.

Seymour’s lifesaving knee surgery is complete, and he is heading home with his new family!
Huge thanks to the incredible team at the Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center for their excellent care, and to an anonymous donor who generously covered his surgery and all of his medical expenses in full.
Seymour’s new life will be filled with love, snuggles, and all the spoiling he deserves.
To everyone else who donated toward Seymour’s care—all remaining donations will stay in our CARE fund to help other shelter animals in need of specialized medical care.

Seymour was found tied to a pole in an east Las Vegas neighborhood, alone, neglected, and in pain.
A concerned neighbor called Animal Protection Services, knowing Seymour desperately needed help.
When officers arrived, they found Seymour with an injured, bleeding leg and brought him to The Animal Foundation.
7-year-old Seymour has a dirty, matted coat and two fractured ribs from the past that are still healing. He has a new fracture above his right knee and is scheduled for surgery tomorrow at a specialty center. He also has an old hip fracture that may need surgery.
Because his fractures happened at different times - it’s likely that Seymour has been intentionally harmed more than once. We have reported his case to Animal Protection Services for further investigation.
Despite his painful past, Seymour is now safe with us and on pain medication—but his fight isn’t over.
Seymour hardly lifts his head while in his kennel. He is scared, depressed, and barely eating. Seymour needs specialized medical care to recover. We need your help to give him the care he deserves.
Our CARE Fund provides lifesaving medical care for animals like Seymour. 100% of every dollar will make a difference for Seymour and others like him.
We know we just asked for your support to help Rupert, who was hit by a car. But every day, new animals arrive at the shelter, broken and in need.
We never know who will come through our doors next, but we do know we can’t do this without you.
You can help Seymour by donating below.
We are also looking for an adopter, foster, or rescue partner to care for Seymour after his surgery.
