Cricket found his happy ending... and he has a new name! Thanks to YOUR kindness, Cricket—now named Yogi—has been adopted by Jay. After recently losing his dog Beans, Jay saw Yogi’s story and felt an instant connection.

Now Yogi is healing in his new home, eating like a piglet (Jay’s words!), and soaking up all the love he deserves. As you can see in these new photos, Yogi’s skin already looks SO much better! At just six months old, Yogi was found locked in a cage next to a dumpster at an apartment complex, suffering from severe mange. Thanks to your donations, Yogi is now getting the medical treatment he needs and a second chance at life.

From all of us - Thank you.

Sweet Cricket is just a baby - only six months old – and he’s itchy, uncomfortable, and absolutely miserable. His skin is so raw and swollen he has to wear a cone just to stop himself from chewing himself.

Cricket’s six-pound body is covered in scabs, crusty patches of skin, and painful sores.

This is how Cricket came to us.

Cricket was found locked in a cage next to a dumpster at an apartment complex in Las Vegas. A good samaritan called Animal Protection Services, and officers rushed him to The Animal Foundation for care.

When we saw Cricket’s face – our hearts broke. This tiny boy is suffering from a severe case of demodex mange – an irritating skin condition caused by microscopic mites that infest the skin.

The good news? Mange is treatable. Cricket is getting medicated baths, antibiotics for a secondary skin infection, and special treatments to kill the mites. It will take a few weeks for him to heal.

Despite how itchy he is, Cricket is still so sweet and gentle. And he might have the biggest, cutest ears we’ve ever seen! We are asking for donations so that we can cover the cost of Cricket’s medical care.

He’s a tough little cookie, and we’re going to help him fight. But we can’t do this without you. Let’s show Cricket just how powerful love, patience, and medical care can be. With your support, we can give him the second chance he’s been waiting for.

Please consider donating today.
