The Animal Foundation receives overwhelming support from community
The Animal Foundation is overwhelmed by the incredible response from our community. The support has been nothing short of amazing.
Not only have so many people opened your hearts and homes to our shelter animals, but they have also contributed massively to our emergency space crisis wish list. An incredible 1,700 items had been donated as of Monday, June 17, making it The Animal Foundation's most successful wish list in recent memory.
The Animal Foundation is so grateful for the support. This proves that together, we can make a huge difference.
Not only that - hundreds of shelter pets woke up on Monday, June 17 in comfy homes!
Between Friday, June 14 and Sunday, June 16, nearly 300 shelter animals were fostered and adopted.
Let’s keep this momentum going! Here’s how you can help our shelter animals:
- Foster or adopt a medium or large dog. Even a short time away from the shelter helps a dog decompress! We're open Tuesday through Sunday from 11-7.
- If you find a healthy and friendly dog, try to find their owner before bringing them to the shelter. They likely have a home nearby and a family waiting for them to return. In just the first two weeks of June, The Animal Foundation took in 1360 animals.
- We need linen donations, especially blankets, sheets and towels.
