Adopt

Adopting: It’s as easy as 1…2…3…4!
Whether it’s a ball-chasing dog, a curious kitten or a cuddly critter, The Animal Foundation has
the perfect pet for you! Finding the right fit is as easy as following these four steps:

Step 1

Search our website to check out all the cute critters currently available for adoption at our two adoption centers.

Step 2

Bring your family to one of our adoption centers and meet the pets!

Step 3

Meet with one of our awesome adoption counselors to complete the adoption paperwork. Please make sure to bring a valid form of identification, proof of current address (i.e. utility bill) and a copy of your lease agreement/pet policy (if renting).

Step 4

Take your new family member home and let the loving begin!

Adoption Locations

The Animal Foundation has adoption centers located in Las Vegas and Henderson. Our main Campus Adoption Center is open daily and houses dogs, cats, and other pets. In addition to our main location, we have partnered  with PetSmart Charities to open an Everyday Adoption Center (EAC) inside PetSmart in Henderson. The EAC has more than 40 dogs and cats available for adoption. Click here to view location information for both Adoption Centers.

Click here to search adoptable pets at both locations online.
Pets listed in kennel PSHD or PSHC are located at the PetSmart Charities Everyday Adoption Center. All other animals are located at our Campus Adoption Center.

Adoption Requirements and Information

All interested adopters must provide the following items in order to adopt a pet:

  • Valid form of identification
  • Proof of current address (i.e. a utility bill) if the address on your ID is not current
  • Copy of your lease agreement/leasing agency’s pet policy, if renting

We encourage patrons who already have a dog or puppy to bring that pet with them to our campus or to the EAC if they’re looking to adopt a companion dog. We offer “get-acquainted” areas to introduce the potential future siblings on neutral ground. Our trained adoption counselors are on-site to assist with the introduction.
