BAILEE

Hi, my name is BAILEE

Hi there, I’m Bailee!

I’m a sweet, gentle soul who just wants to be close to my humans. Walks? I love ‘em—but nothing too fast. I’m more of a “let’s enjoy the scenery together” kind of gal. Casual strolls are my jam.

But the real magic happens when we get home—because that’s cuddle time! I’m a total lovebug and proud of it. I may be a little big for your lap, but that’s not going to stop me from trying. If you’re sitting, I’m snuggling—simple as that. I’m looking for a best friend who loves calm days, cozy nights, and lots of affection.

If you’ve got a soft spot for a cuddly companion, I think we’d be a perfect match. Can’t wait to meet you!

Adopt this dog and receive a scholarship for 5 weeks of free group training classes! These classes are taught by a certified trainer at the shelter. My Special Considerations

Bailee is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. She has been at the shelter since 6/14 and is showing minimal progress. She avoids and hides in her kennel. She is hesitant to approach new people, but will for treats! Once out of the kennel, she warms up and accepts petting. Her previous owner stated she resource guards high value items like table food. They also stated she was not good with other dogs. However, she came in with a smaller dog and she has been to playgroup. At playgroup she prefers calm dogs. She overcorrects and shows defensive behaviors with pushy dogs. She will require proper introductions to new dogs in order to be successful and may do best with calmer, gentler dogs. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
