Monday Night Fever Adoption Event
August 18, 2025 | 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
We’re turning up the funk and cooling down the shelter for a one-night-only, disco-themed adoption event at The Animal Foundation! Thanks to the generous support of Hale Injury Law, all dog adoption fees will be waived during Monday Night Fever—an evening where the grooves are hot, the kennels are cool, and your future best friend is waiting to boogie into your life.
When: Monday, August 18 | 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Where: The Animal Foundation – Adoptions Building
Why You’ll Want to Boogie on Over:
-
All dog adoption fees will be waived, thanks to the generous support of Hale Injury Law
-
We’re opening our doors on a Monday night—the day we're usually closed—just for this event!
-
Live music, feel-good vibes, and potential soulmates waiting to meet you
-
Cooler temps = more comfy browsing (for you and the pups!)
*A $10 license fee may apply.
How the Adoption Process Works:
- View adoptable dogs HERE to have an idea of what you are looking for when you arrive.
- Adoptions take place on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning at 6 pm. Depending on the volume of patrons each day, adoption services may close before 9 PM once our capacity is reached.
- When you arrive, you may browse the adoption area for a pet, or if you have an animal in mind, please note the animal ID#, and you'll be able to speak with an adoption counselor.
- Scan the QR code on the adoption lobby door to join our virtual waitlist. Just make sure to return by 6 pm when the doors open!
- We do not place holds on pets.
- Please do not bring your current pets with you to the shelter. We do not allow in-shelter dog-to-dog introductions. The shelter is a strange and stressful place for most pets and does not provide an accurate indication of how the animals will act in a home environment. The most successful dog-to-dog introductions are properly staged outside the shelter environment. We provide step-by-step instructions on how to properly introduce your new pet to resident pet(s).
- The fee-waived adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and up-to-date vaccines for appropriate animals. A $10 license fee may apply.
So dust off those dancing shoes and meet us under the shelter disco ball. Your next dog just might be the best thing to come out of Monday since three-day weekends.
