Summer Reading Program

The Animal Foundation's Summer Reading Program is back!

We’ve added extra "Book Buddies" time slots for kids to come read to our shelter pets this summer—and it’s a win-win. The kids get to build their reading skills, and our shelter pets get some much-needed comfort and company.

From now until August 31st, any kid who comes three times will be able to choose a hand painted dog or cat painting to keep! Punch cards will be handed out when you come for your first visit.

Please visit https://bit.ly/4jGpQEU to sign up for a time slot and to complete your waiver. Children as young as 6 can volunteer to read, but remember - we require a minimum of one adult chaperone per three children.
