Join us at The Animal Foundation for Summer of Love, a two-day, fee-waived adoption event on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Whether you're looking for a mellow cuddle buddy or a groovy adventure partner, this is your chance to meet the perfect pet. All adoption fees are waived—dogs, cats, rabbits, and more are ready to bring peace, love, and tail wags into your life. This event has been generously sponsored by Brittany Powers.

Fees:
Adoption fees are waived for all animals.
(A $10 pet license fee may apply.)
How to Adopt:
- Browse Ahead: Check out our adoptable pets online to fall in love before you even walk through the door.
- Come Early: Adoptions are first-come, first-served. We expect a crowd, and doors open at 11 am.
- Meet Your Match: Our team will help you connect with the right pet—just ask if you have a specific animal in mind.
- Take Home the Love: While we don’t allow in-shelter dog-to-dog meet-and-greets, we’ll provide tips for smooth introductions at home.
Pro Tip: Our shelter can reach capacity before closing—plan to arrive early for the best chance to meet your match.
