Fee-Waived Adoptions Sponsored by Mondays Dark
December 21, 2024 | 11:00 am - 7:00 pm
Happy Pawlidays!
We're excited to announce that, thanks to Mark Shunock and Mondays Dark, ALL pets in our shelter will have their adoption fees waived for one day only! They are covering the first $5,000 of adoption fees on Saturday, December 21st, starting at 11 am.
This exciting adoption event is the perfect time to open your home to a snuggly dog, quirky cat, or squeaky guinea pig. Whatever you're looking for, their adoption fee will be waived. Every animal that finds a loving home not only gives them the second chance they deserve but also creates space for the next animal who needs us.
Please note, that a $10 license fee may apply.
Where: The Animal Foundation. 655 N. Mojave Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89101
When: Saturday, December 21st, from 11 am to 7 pm.
About the Adoption Process:
- Visit https://animalfoundation.com/adopt-a-pet/adoption-search to browse adoptable animals to have an idea of what you are looking for when you arrive.
- Adoptions take place on a first-come, first-served basis for walk-in traffic, beginning at 11 am each day. Depending on the volume of patrons each day, adoption services may close before 7 PM once our capacity is reached.
- When you arrive, you may browse the adoption area for a pet, or if you have an animal in mind, please note the animal ID# and you'll be able to speak with an adoption counselor.
- Please note, that patrons sometimes line up before we open to meet a pet, especially during adoption events.
- We do not place holds on pets.
- Please do not bring your current pets with you to the shelter. We do not allow in-shelter dog-to-dog introductions. The shelter is a strange and stressful place for most pets and does not provide an accurate indication of how the animals will act in a home environment. The most successful dog-to-dog introductions are properly staged outside the shelter environment. We provide step-by-step instructions on how to properly introduce your new pet to resident pet(s).
