Join Us for Our First-Ever Foster Field Trip Day!
Are you interested in spending a day with a dog but can’t commit to adoption? Do you want to make a difference without the long-term commitment? Our Foster Field Trip Day is the perfect opportunity for you! Come pick up a dog and give them a much needed break from the shelter.
We're aiming to send 25 shelter dogs on field trips on Saturday, October 26. Any dog over 6 months old and 35 lbs in adoptions is eligible to participate.
Learn About Fostering: Our foster team will be available to answer your questions and guide you through our foster field trip program.
Take a Dog for a Day of Fun: Enjoy the beautiful weather while you and a shelter dog explore a local park, dog-friendly patios, or even your own backyard!
Exciting Activities: Spin our prize wheel for fun swag, enjoy snacks, and enter a raffle for a chance to win prizes.
A Chance to Adopt: Fall in love with your foster dog? No worries! If you decide to adopt, we’ll waive the adoption fee!
- We’ll provide you with a list of dog-friendly restaurants and locations.
- Each dog will have an “Adopt Me” leash and bandana to showcase that they’re available for adoption.
- As part of the field trip, you’ll fill out a brief evaluation to help potential adopters learn more about the dog, and we encourage you to take pictures and videos to share their experience!
Shelters can be stressful for dogs, and our Foster Field Trip program aims to provide them with a relaxing, enriching experience outside the shelter. By taking a dog out for a few hours, a few days, or even a few weeks, you can help them destress and showcase their true personality, making it easier for them to find their forever home.
