Hi, I’m Birthday Bear!

Yep, that’s really my name, because every day with me feels like a celebration! I’m a wiggly, bouncy, tail-wagging ball of pure JOY with a serious passion for playtime. If you’ve got a ball, a treat, or a pool, we’re already best friends.

I’ve got puppy-like energy (and then some), so I’m always ready to run, chase, splash, and zoom around like it’s my job. Once I’ve had my playtime fix, I settle down and walk nicely by your side on a leash (just give me a few minutes to burn off my wiggles first).

I’m happiest when I’m outside, chasing toys or drinking straight from the hose like it’s the finest spring water. I don’t need much, just someone who loves to move, laugh, and live life to the fullest. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick who makes every moment more fun, I’m your girl.

My Special Considerations

Birthday Bear is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. She is a young dog that has high-energy and requires consistent physical and mental stimulation.
This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.

This dog was diagnosed with an infectious respiratory disease and needs to be isolated form other dogs through 08/17/25 while being treated.
