Hi, my name is DAMU

At around an estimated 4 years old and 69 pounds, Damu is a strong and playful boy who doesn't quite realize his own strength. He may come on a little strong at first—especially on leash or when he's excited—but with time, he settles into a much calmer rhythm. He’ll thrive with a confident handler who can help him continue learning boundaries through consistent training and structure.

He’s incredibly affectionate, playful, and expressive—known for his sweet “talking” with different whimpers and cries to let you know how he’s feeling.

He knows how to sit, is friendly with people, and is happy to watch the world pass him by on a sunny afternoon.

Damu is a big softie who just needs someone to see past his brawn and recognize the sweet, silly, and loving pup underneath. Be sure to ask our adoption or foster teams about how to best introduce Damu to your pets and family at home to set him up for success!

This dog was diagnosed with an infectious respiratory disease and needs to be isolated from other dogs through 07/01/25 while being treated.
