Meet Thor, a distinguished older gentleman who still has plenty of energy and a youthful love for play! This handsome boy absolutely adores chasing a ball and is quite smart, knowing his "sit" and "give paw" commands (he might even know more!). Thor is a big fan of treats and a strong boy who enjoys taking the lead on walks.

Thor's previous family shared that he has experience living with both kids and cats, making him a potentially wonderful addition to a diverse household. (Remember, slow, gradual, and safe introductions are always encouraged with any new pets.) As an owner surrender, he's looking for a loving new chapter.

My Special Considerations

Thor goes to playgroup at the shelter. He is a “potty dog” at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and is likely housebroken. He’s working on his manners but is treat-motivated and already knows commands like “sit” and “give paw.”
In a previous foster home, Thor was described as a quiet, affectionate, and never barked, did great on the leash, and absolutely loves car rides.
He enjoyed playing fetch, chewing on toys, and nuzzling your neck for extra pets.
His previous owner stated that he did well with both kids and cats in the home and was gentle with their resident cats. Thor isn’t a fan of nail trims.
