Hi, my name is *CHAMP

Meet Champ, a sweet, shy young boy eager to find his forever home! Champ takes a little time to warm up, but with a patient approach and some delicious beef jerky, he quickly learns to trust. He's already shown us how much he wants to connect, approaching his kennel door when it's time for an outing.

Once in the play yard, Champ loves to explore and sniff everything! His face lights up when other dogs pass by, showing his potential for canine companionship. While he might be too shy for treats outside his kennel at first, his favorite beef jerky eventually wins him over.

Champ's affection grows with trust. A staff member even saw him "light up and smile" when he saw me return! This sweet boy will become an incredibly devoted companion once he's given the time to decompress and feel comfortable in a new environment.

My Special Considerations

Champ is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
