She got along great on her last foster trip with both large and small dogs as well. She’s very gentle, especially when it comes to taking food, and she’s also a car-riding pro — calm and relaxed during trips.

This sweet girl has a medium food drive but is highly motivated by toys — especially a good game of fetch! She loves playing tug and has a great grasp on basic commands like “sit,” “down,” and “drop.” Calliope is also very smart and easily redirected when needed. Her love for toys, belly rubs, and playing fetch makes her a delight to be around.

My Special Considerations

This sweet and affectionate pup is the total package—calm, well-mannered, and a joy to be around. She walks beautifully on leash, enjoys a good stroll, and isn’t overly energetic, making her a great fit for a more relaxed household. But don’t let her calm nature fool you—she’s got a serious love for fetch!
She has a high ball drive, plays with enthusiasm, and always brings the ball right back to you. Because of her passion for the game, she can show mild resource guarding around balls when other dogs are present.

She’s also quite the smart girl! She knows sit and down, and she’s gentle when taking treats or meeting new friends. She enjoys belly rubs, rides calmly in the car, and even knows how to get in and out of the vehicle on her own.
