Meet Canelo — a calm, quiet soul who’s still adjusting to life at the shelter.

This sweet boy was surrendered by his previous family and is taking things one gentle step at a time as he gets used to his new surroundings.

Canelo doesn't react toward other dogs during walks around the shelter, and his calm, loyal nature continues to shine through.

We’re still getting to know him, but Canelo is already showing signs of being a loving, devoted companion looking for a patient and loving home.

My Special Considerations

Being treated for a respiratory infection. Will need medication and isolation from other dogs through at least 6/19
