Foster Search
Hi, my name is *JACK JACK
This sweet young boy might be a little nervous in his kennel, but give him a moment to open up, and you'll fall in love!
When our volunteer first met him, he expressed his fear with a bark and a growl. However, with a little patience and with the magic of beef jerky, his curiosity quickly took over! Once they sat calmly by his kennel and offered treats, his fear melted away.
Jack Jack knows "sit" and "lay down," walks nicely on the leash, and isn't bothered by the hustle and commotion of the shelter. What he truly loves is simply hanging out with his person.
If you have a gentle heart and a welcoming home to help this sweet boy feel safe and loved, come meet Jack Jack today! Need more time to decide? Ask about our Foster Field Trip, Foster and Foster-to-Adopt programs.
My Special Considerations
*Jack Jack is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
