Hi, my name is *MCQUEEN

Hi there… I’m McQueen. I’m not the kind of cat who will run up to you right away — in fact, I’m usually the one you don’t see at first. I like quiet corners, cozy hiding spots, and watching the world from a safe distance.
I’ve had a rough start, and it takes me a long time to feel safe around new people. But with patience, gentleness, and a calm environment, I can learn to trust. Right now, I find comfort in small spaces where I can tuck myself away and feel invisible.

It’s not that I don’t want love — I just don’t know how to ask for it yet. (Especially in the shelter!)

I might not be your typical lap cat (at least not anytime soon), but if you’re someone who understands that healing takes time and love can be quiet, we might be the perfect match.

I’m looking for a patient human who’s willing to let me go at my own pace. No loud noises, no sudden movements — just kindness, consistency, and a few good hiding places.

*Mcqueen is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
