Rosie is a truly special girl who's waiting to blossom in a loving home! This affectionate beauty responds to her name and greets you with patient anticipation at her kennel door, eager for a walk and some love.

While Rosie enjoys her walks and is a true sweetheart, showering her favorite people with gentle kisses and approaching readily for pets.

She might take a moment to warm up to new faces, but once you crouch down to her level, her affectionate nature shines through, and she'll be right there for cuddles.

This treat-loving girl is also a smart cookie! She knows the "sit" command and is making great progress with "lay down." And when it comes to playtime, Rosie's eyes light up! She absolutely loves chasing and retrieving balls, bringing them back with enthusiasm.

Here's what Rosie's foster had to say! "She's definitely a sweetheart though and I do hope she finds her forever home soon. She enjoys walks and does well on them. She loves playing but doesn't like sharing toys. She just recently started showing interest with playing with our dogs but mostly likes to relax. She's very gentle when taking treats and knows "shake" when getting a treat."

My Special Considerations

Rosie is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Rosie has a history of high jumping, which can be a saftey concern for her. She can also be timid when first interacting with her. She has been moved to a suite and has shown improvement. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 4/6 by 3pm

UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention. The commitment date is being extended from 4/4 to 4/6.
