Sandy is a sweetheart with a playful spirit and a whole lot of love to give! She’s the kind of dog who lives life with enthusiasm—whether she’s chasing after a ball, going for a walk, or just flopping on the couch for some serious snuggle time. Her foster mom even said she was the cuddliest dog she’s ever met!

This confident and goofy gal recently enjoyed a two-night foster field trip where she proved she’s the whole package: housebroken, affectionate, smart, and a total joy to be around. She was great in the car, loved every outdoor adventure, played with toys, and then happily curled up for couch time. Sandy truly thrives with active humans who also appreciate the value of a good cuddle session.

She already knows “sit” and “paw,” is super treat-motivated, and improved her leash manners with just a few walks. With a little continued guidance, this bright and eager girl will pick up even more in no time.

Sandy would thrive in a home that embraces her zest for life—whether it’s neighborhood strolls, hiking trails, or simply backyard fetch. She’s even dipped her toes into a bit of water fun! With her mix of playfulness and affection, Sandy is ready to be your most loyal companion and best friend.

She is now potty trained and she did great on our hikes and picnic adventures. She is super curious and loves nature. The best part about Sandy is her cuddly nature. I have never been cuddled so much in my life. She is super affectionate and her big eyes can melt your soul. A total love bug.

My Special Considerations

*Sandy is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
