Hucklestuff aka Master of Sad Puppy Dog Eyes.

This beautiful, wild little guy is stuffed with good intentions. He's so eager to do the right thing (and to earn some treats) that you can literally see it on his face.

At the shelter, he loves to play with other dogs in playgroup. He zooms around the yard getting all the pups around him to join in the fun.

He's begging for a home where he can learn and grow into the Best Boy he knows he can be. We're blown away that he's been in our care since October 2024.

Hucklestuff is all the things you need to train a dog: too smart, very treat motivated, and eager to please. He's an affectionate boy that is just hoping for his chance at a Happily Ever After life. Foster or adopt him today!

My Special Considerations

Hucklestuff is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is starting to have heavy smear marks and is fecal tracking in his kennel. *Hucklestuff is a total sweetheart. He allows staff members to leash him up very easily and seeks constant attention and pets once outside of his kennel. He is a playgroup candidate that loves running around and playing with the other dogs in the yard. Very treat motivated so training should be a breeze! This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
