Foster Search
Hi, my name is FOLK
Folk is an energetic 8-year-old pup who is ready to go on walks or strolls around the neighborhood with you. He's eager to bond and would make a loyal companion. He already knows how to sit for treats, showcasing his intelligence and potential for training. He was eager to leave his kennel but once he was able to stretch his legs walked pretty well on the leash. He's considered a potty dog at the shelter, meaning he likes to do his business outside his kennel.
If you're looking for a furry friend who is ready to bring joy to your life and is waiting for a hero to rescue him. He is neutered so can go home with you today. Adopt or foster Folk!
My Special Considerations
Folk is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Folk is becoming stressed in his kennel. He will grumble and bark at staff. He is a potty dog meaning he prefers to use the bathroom outside. He walks well on leash but sometimes pulls when excited. He is smart and receptive to training. He is learning how to appropriately play with other dogs at shelter playgroups. We recommend proper introductions to any new dogs to set him up for success. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
