My Special Considerations

Neo is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Neo is currently in isolation due to being sick, due to being in isolation he is beginning to be very anxious in his kennel. He is heavy panting, and demand barking in his kennel but he is able to settle with treats. He does get anxious and eager to exit when staff unlocks his kennel. He will jump up but is able to be leashed and taken to a play yard. He is a young pup with lots of energy who needs a place to decompress from here. He loves treats so training should be a breeze! This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 3/16 by 3pm

UPDATE: This animal has shown some improvements and is beginning to respond to interventions provided. The commitment date is being extended to assess if further improvements will be made with intervention. The commitment date is being extended from 3/14 to 3/16.
