Hi, my name is *CASSIE

Cassie is full of life and energy. Outside her kennel, she's either playing fetch or zooming around the play yard. She absolutely LOVES the ball and her plushies. Her favorite game is “keep away”. She’ll try to get you to toss the ball or toy and, once you do, she’ll keep it away from you. It seems like she really enjoys this game of chase.

While Cassie is an independent spirit and can be content keeping herself amused, she clearly also enjoys human interaction – as she’s always asking the humans to play with her by rolling a ball towards them!

She arrived at the shelter as a stray last April, and unfortunately came back as a stray. She deserves a committed family who will love her unconditionally! Since she’s already spayed, she can go home with you today! She is available for adoption or foster.

My Special Considerations

*Cassie is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. Additionally, this dog is showing signs of IRD and will need to be isolated from other dogs until 2/14.
