Foster Search
Hi, my name is MILO
Milo looks like a fuzzy little polar bear—with a super soft coat and perky ears. But beneath that adorable exterior is a pup who’s a bit confused.
Out on walks, Milo seems anxious and more focused on his environment than on people. He isn't especially receptive to affection just yet—he’s still unsure, still watching, still figuring it all out. He just needs time. We’re still getting to know him, and he’s still getting to know us.
Right now, what Milo needs most is a safe, calm, and loving home where he can finally exhale. Somewhere he can build confidence, decompress, and start forming bonds at his own pace. He’s absolutely deserving of that second chance.
Our shelter dogs often show a completely different personality—and their true colors—once they’ve had time to settle into a home where they feel safe and loved. If you believe in giving nervous hearts the space to heal and blossom, Milo is waiting for you.
My Special Considerations
Milo is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
