Hi, my name is *SERENA
Serena came to the shelter terrified—so shut down that staff had to wheel her to her kennel in a cart. Her face bears old scars, and whatever her past looked like, she’s slowly but surely learning that she’s safe now.
During her first walk at the shelter, she explored the shelter grounds, gently wagging that low tail, and even braved the shallow pool. After some hesitation, she stepped in, tested the water, and finally plopped herself down to cool off. It was a small but beautiful victory.
Serena is incredibly easy to walk and manage. She’s calm, low-key, and just wants love. She’s got a giant block head (the kind you just want to smooch) and the sweetest, softest soul. She always comes over to say hi and soak up affection. As of now, it doesn’t seem like she’s into toys or balls—just people. However, keep in mind that we’re still getting to know her as she’s slowly coming out of her shell!
Serena would make a lovely, loyal companion for someone who understands that healing takes time and love. She's ready to leave the past behind and start again—with you.
