Hi, my name is *NUGGET

Come meet Nugget, a very sweet young boy who's ready to find his forever home. He may appear a little shy at first, but with just a little time and gentle affection, he quickly opens up and shows his loving nature. Nugget is a true shadow, preferring to follow his person around and stay close by.

Given the stress of the shelter environment, we haven't seen if he knows any commands yet, and he hasn't shown much interest in chasing toys. We believe that once he's in a calm, loving home, his true personality will blossom and he'll feel more comfortable exploring and learning.

Nugget is in search of a patient home that will give him the time he needs to decompress and truly shine. My Special Considerations

Nugget is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.

Additionally, this friend has a lameness that we are currently recommending kennel rest and pain management. Due to their kennel distress in the shelter they would paticularly benefit from rest in a less stressful environment.
