My Special Considerations

This sweet girl appears to have a condition known as extraocular myositis, making her eyes bulge out. Further assessment at a full-service veterinarian is advised, but treatment for that condition typically involves immune suppression (which is risky at the shelter as they're at higher risk of infection during that time). She is currently being treated for a mild respiratory infection and will need isolation from other dogs and medication through at least 6/21.
