My Special Considerations

Squirrel is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Squirrel is very stressed out in the kennel. He is heavily panting and wall rebounding. He is also heavy fecal tracking throughout his kennel. Staff has been able to leash and take out. He is a very sweet boy and loves treats. He knows sit and is eager to learn more. Squirrel seeks attention and allows all handling. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
