*RODNEY

Hi, my name is *RODNEY

Meet Rodney, a young and sweet boy with a curious spirit! This inquisitive fellow loves to explore his surroundings, and he's got quite the sniffer to help him investigate every new scent.

He's listed as a potty dog at the shelter, and he was certainly eager to get outside for potty breaks. Rodney takes his time to connect, preferring to thoroughly explore his environment first. For a dog of his size, he walks nicely on the leash.

The person who found Rodney spent some quality time with him before bringing him to the shelter. They reported that once Rodney felt comfortable, his playful side emerged, and he even rolled over for some delightful belly rubs! The finder also noted that Rodney was a great passenger in the car and walked well on the leash.

Rodney would truly thrive in a foster or forever home that understands he needs time and patience to decompress and fully blossom into the loving companion he's meant to be. If you'd like more time to see if Rodney is the right fit, be sure to ask about our Foster field trip, Foster, and Foster-to-Adopt programs – it's a wonderful opportunity to let Rodney relax outside the shelter while you get to know him better.

Rodney is a lovable companion just waiting for the right person to help him feel at home. With a little patience and a lot of love, Rodney will blossom into your most loyal, fun-loving friend.

My Special Considerations

*Rodney is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
