Meet Ark, a happy and sweet boy whose bright spirit is just waiting to shine in a loving home! This charming pup already knows "sit" and "give paw," and he's highly motivated by treats. Ark is a pleasure on walks, handling well on the leash and showing no reactivity towards passing dogs.

While he enjoys chasing toys, he's more interested in the thrill of the chase than retrieving them.

Ark is finding kennel life quite stressful and is eager to get out and enjoy more walks and adventures with someone.

He thrives when he's out and about, ready for fun and companionship.

He's also a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and is likely housebroken.

My Special Considerations

Ark is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.

This dog is being treated for presumed pneumonia and may need additional veterinary care. He would love a home to relax in while recovering.
