LUNA

Hi, my name is LUNA

Your new best friend with a built-in treat radar!

Luna is a happy, treat-motivated pup who will check your pockets just in case you’re hiding snacks. She loves showing off her best trick—offering you a sweet little paw or high-five in exchange for a goodie (and trust us, it’s adorable every time).

Luna's also a toy enthusiast! On a recent trip to Pet Supplies Plus, she proudly explored every toy on the wall and even tried to “adopt” a 4-foot rainbow caterpillar. She’s got great taste.

At the park, Luna starts off excited—she pulls a bit at first (so many smells, so little time!)—but as she settles in, her leash manners improve. She’s working on learning to heel but loves taking the lead and staying active.

Fetch fans, rejoice: Luna found a stick at the park and lit up like it was Christmas morning. A yard or nearby park to run and play in would make her so happy.

Luna is also a 'potty dog at the shelter which means she waits to go outside to do her business and is likely housebroken.

After a full day of fun, Luna is all about winding down. Back at the shelter, she leaned gently against her human’s leg and gifted a soft kiss—her way of saying “thank you.” She’s great in the car, loves affection, and is ready for a home full of play, love, and of course—treats.

Ready to meet this one-of-a-kind girl? Luna’s waiting to high-five her way into your heart.

My Special Considerations

Luna is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Luna is a very sweet girl who loves to be outside. She is starting to become very reactive to her neighbors and cage fight them in passing and having difficultly breaking focus. She loves treats and loves to play with staff. She is a playgroup candidate This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
