Sporting adorable “Dorito” ears and soulful eyes, Big Joe has a curious spirit and a nose for adventure.

This sweet guy loves exploring and isn’t shy about telling you where he wants to go on walks—he’s a natural leader!

After spending some time cooped up, he’s thrilled to be out and about, soaking in all the sights and smells.

This smart cookie already knows how to sit and is eager to learn more.

My Special Considerations

*Big Joe is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. He is very nervous in his kennel. He growls and avoids when new people approach his kennel. Once he warms up to new people, he allows handling. His kennel presentation deters people from meeting him, but he is a sweet boy once he warms up. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
