Hi, my name is *MELINOE

Melinoe has one of those names that describes the opposite of what she really is. A far cry from the Goddess of Nightmares and Madness, our Melinoe is more like the Goddess of Spunk and Smiles.

This dainty girl has springs for legs and one of the cutest smiles we've ever seen on a dog with her tiny little underbite! She's a very playful girl who can go from zooming around the yard to flopping down for belly rubs in the blink of an eye. Melinoe is a compact, agile, athletic girl who's just waiting for her new Loving Person/Adventure Buddy/Snuggle Sidekick to come down and get her! She's available for foster or adoption today!

My Special Considerations

*Melinoe is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. *Melinoe has a history of not doing well with small dogs, men and children in past homes. Here at the shelter she has been handled by staff and volunteers and although nervous she allows all handling but does take time to warm up. She is social and friendly but needs time to decompress and a patient home to set her up for success. We recommend a quiet home with no small children. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
