Hi, my name is BIGGIE
Meet Biggie, the happy, easy-going boy with the big heart!
He's just barely reaching his senior years and is still a playful dog with plenty of energy to accompany you on walks. If you're not looking to start from scratch with a puppy, he's reported to be crate trained, housebroken, and uses the doggy door. He's used to sleeping in his crate all night and when left alone during the day, he's said to play with his toys and rest quietly.
Biggie knows commands like "sit", "stay" and "come". He loves squeaky toys, ropes and bones. On his walks at the shelter, he's not one to mark, is easy-peasy on a leash and takes correction well. Biggie would be the perfect companion for anyone looking for an older, more mature companion. He's basically already the Best Boy! He's also neutered and looking for a loving, committed foster or forever home. His bags are packed and he's ready to come home with you today!
My Special Considerations
Biggie is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. He is starting to heavy pant as well as heavy fecal track in his kennel. He is a sweet boy who allows all handing and is friendly to staff. Biggie is a playgroup candidate as well. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
