Hi, my name is RUSO
Ruso has a singular goal: to receive as many cuddles as possible! This 65-pound potato adores being petted and will lean against his humans, nestle between their legs, give hugs, or do whatever it takes to earn those pets. Ruso doesn't crave fancy toys; all he needs is a devoted individual to shower him with love and affection, and his heart will be full of joy. You don't even need to change into your "going out" sweats, just hurry down and scoop up this big sweetie. He'll love you just the way you are! Ruso arrived at the shelter on November 3rd and would love a committed foster or forever home. Come down and meet him today!
My Special Considerations
Ruso is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Ruso is starting to become anxious in his kennel, he is demand barking, fecal tracking and panting in his kennel. He is a bit restless in his kennel as well. He is eager to greet staff and very loose bodied and wiggly. Ruso is a friendly dog, he walks well on a leash, allows all handling and loves treats and he is a playgroup candidate. Ruso is continuing to have issues in his kennel, constant chattering and being restless. He is also now starting to circle in his kennel but able to break his focus for a few seconds. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal needs placement by 12/24 by PM
