Hi, my name is *GOAT
And the prize for the shelter's biggest smile goes to...Goat!
His grey eyes are reminiscent of a foggy morning made for snuggling with the ones you love. This beautiful block-head is one smart cookie, too! Goat is still an energetic boy at about 7 years old who loves to run and play but he's got a very firm grasp of the "sit" command and he walks well on the leash. Training him will be a breeze with his intellect, attentiveness, and love of treats (and he's not picky about those!)
He loves getting pets on his ginormous head and the attention of his people. At the shelter, Goat doesn't react to dogs walking by or through the fence. He gets a little nervous and shies away when dogs bark at him walking through the bungalow or out and about. He's just a gentle giant of a boy looking for the security of a loving home. Foster or adopt Goat today!
My Special Considerations
*Goat is exhibiting signs of arousal and anxiety in the shelter environment and is having a hard time adapting. *Goat is a sweet boy. He can get little mouthy on leash when excited. However, he is treat motivated, so training should be fairly easy. *Goat is struggling in the kennel, he is attempting to cage fight. He is a potty dog and prefers to do his business outside. This animal would benefit from an environment with less stimulation and some training to help them cope with over arousing stimuli and anxiety.
