Alex is in need of a calm and patient family who can provide him with the time and space he requires to feel safe and secure. Additionally, he would benefit from a home that can assist with his skin care needs.

This handsome hunk has a love for treats and is eager to please. He is a playgroup candidate and enojys playing roughly with other pups but can change his play style with to suit other dogs. Alex was nervous at first but time, treats, and patience he is showing a ton of progress! He now seeks attention, walks well on leash, and enjoys playing with toys. Alex is a silly young man with lots of love to give.

My Special Considerations

Alex is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of fear and kennel distress. Alex is at the front of the kennel with a loose tail. Staff has been able to leash and take out of the kennel. He allows all handling from staff and sometimes seek for more attention. Alex is a playgroup candidate. He loves to play rough with the right kind of dog, but is very gentle with scared pups. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes.
