My Special Considerations

Kehlani is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Kehlani is a big ball of energy. She loves to run and zoom around the play yard. She has come to playgroup and likes a rougher type of play, and at times will herd the other dogs around. She is sweet and allows all handling from multiple staff. In her kennel, she is high pitch screaming, demand barking and leaving severe smears on glass. This is making her neighbors become really frustrated. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation. This animal requires either rescue pull or long term foster placement until permanent placement can be found.
