Hi, I am Periwinkle!

I have a heart full of love and a wiggly tail that never stops. When the staff give me treats in my kennel, I wiggle my whole body and use my best girl manners to take the treats from them like a gentle dainty lady!

I am looking to be the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loyal friend to brighten their days. If you’ re ready to welcome a bundle of joy and let me wiggle my way into your heart I am here waiting for my new family.

Periwinkle recently went on a Foster Field Trip, here's what they had to say-

"I had fun taking Periwinkle out on a field trip. She's a sweet dog and was very excited to explore the world... She's very attentive to her surroundings. After she settled down a bit she walked very well on the leash with minimal pulling. We also went to lunch at Lazy dogs and she loved her chicken and rice! She did really good walking in! She got lots of compliments from people too. She likes to splash in her water bowl while she’s drinking water."

My Special Considerations

*Periwinkle is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. *Periwinkle is focusing at the wall shared with her neighbor, she continues to jump up landing on her water. This puts her at risk of hurting herself. She is very sweet and seeks attention outside of her kennel. She has come to playgroup, she is playful but can be confident and challenging at times, she is steerable. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
