Apollo is as statuesque as the name implies! He is a strikingly handsome young dog, and he doesn't want people to think he's just a pretty face. There's so much more to Apollo!

Apollo is a playful, goofy boy that loves to chase the ball even though there's a lot of pouncing and dropping involved. He's ready to come bounding into your life with his little white socks on, lighting up your life for years to come! Apollo is a playgroup candidate and enjoys running and romping with his friends!

Recently Apollo went on a foster field trip and had an amazing day! His foster took Apollo up to the mountains to hike and had a great time. He also enjoyed a pup cup. Apollo is seeking a permanent hiking buddy!

Help this energetic young dog out of the shelter and into a life of love and adventure. He's available for foster or adoption, or foster field trips!

My Special Considerations

Apollo is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Apollo is a sweet, playful boy. He has shown stress signals in his kennel in the past, those signals being heavy smears and fecal tracking. He has shown major improvement. He is a playgroup candidate but prefers female. He would thrive better in a home environment. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
