Hi, I'm Franco!

The top three things you should know about me are...
1. I love to play with other dogs in playgroup at the shelter.
2. I'm a big, goofy boy who loves to get attention from people and pups alike.
3. I'm pretty darn smart! I'm in the doggie training class at the shelter and my trainer says I'm doing pretty well learning new things!

Stop in and meet me today, I'm ready to find my forever home filled with love where I can show you my silly side before we snuggle all night long on the couch.

I am a long-stay shelter resident. When you adopt me, you'll receive a gift basket with treats, toys, and more!

My Special Considerations

Franco is not adapting well to being in a kennel at the shelter and is displaying signs of kennel distress and anxiety. Franco is incredibly intelligent and loves to learn. He is mastering sit, down, stay, come, and leash manners. Franco is also a playgroup candidate and enjoys gentle play with other dogs. This big boy is sweet, gentle, and loving. This animal would benefit from a calmer environment and training to be able to cope with changing environments and separation.
