Hi, my name is REX
Rex is curious and independent — the kind of dog who enjoys sniffing out new adventures and exploring at his own pace. He’s confident and smart, always eager to see what’s around the next corner. But don’t let his independence fool you — he’s also affectionate and appreciates a good head scratch or a quiet moment at your side after a fun walk.
With his balanced “adult dog energy,” Rex is past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of spunk. He’d do well with someone who enjoys a dog with a little personality and a lot of heart — someone who respects his independence but also makes room on the couch (and in the treat jar).
Rex is also a 'potty dog' at the shelter which means he waits to go outside to do his business and is likely housebroken.
If you're looking for a loyal companion whose equal parts clever, cuddly, and treat-motivated, Rex is ready to meet you. He's neutered and available to come home with you today for foster or adoption!
My Special Considerations
This dog is showing signs of infectious respiratory disease (IRD) and will need to be isolated from other dogs until 5/16.
I was found at 5900 FOREST CREEK RD, NORTH LAS VEGAS NV 89031
