My Special Considerations

Melonberry is not adapting well to the shelter environment and exhibiting signs of extreme fear. She is very shut down - she is trembling, avoiding, hiding, cowering, and tense when handling. She tolerates handling but is pancaked, ears back, with dilated pupils and tense body during handling. She is not thriving in the shelter and would benefit from a quiet space to decompress. This animal would benefit from a quieter place to adjust and become more comfortable with social and environmental changes. This animal needs placement by 8/22 at 3 PM.
